The Alexander Technique

The Alexander Technique is a mind-body practice which uses hands-on work and kinesiology to release deep musculo-skeletal tension patterns which affect our posture and our ability to move and think with ease and flexibility. The benefits of this work include improved posture and enhanced performance in everyday movement. The Alexander Technique teaches you tools to work with your body and mind to bring about long-lasting changes. Sessions consist of table work as well as movement. Darcy brings a warm and supportive presence to her work and each lesson is tailored to the student’s individual needs.
